The 'Best in Cork' awards 2024 have honored our Cork sanctuary as the Best Tourist Attraction (Free Admission) - highlighting our dedicated efforts towards giving a new lease of life to neglected donkeys and mules in Ireland.
Our sanctuary is a top visitor attraction in Cork, with visitors throughout the winter and summer. Free to enter, dog-friendly, and set in the beautiful village of Liscarroll, our sanctuary is home to more than 150 rescued donkeys.
Although there is no entry fee, visitors to the shop can be assured that any money spent on-site will go toward improving the lives of donkeys in Ireland.
Our sanctuary is open Friday to Monday from 9am to 4pm. Visitors can take a peaceful walk along our beautiful paths and say hello to their adoption donkey in the main yard.
Our visitors are guaranteed to have a memorable experience and, more importantly, the support enables us to extend our reach, helping more donkeys in need across the country.
