The Donkey Sanctuary has produced the Donkey Care Handbook and a number of factsheets to answer every question in all areas of donkey care, as well as providing training courses for people who are planning to own or to rehome a pair of donkeys.

When it comes to improving donkey welfare, we are facing some serious challenges. Due to increased indiscriminate breeding and donkeys being abandoned by their owners, our Irish sanctuary is full to capacity - but we are here to help.
