Visit and fall in love
The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland is temporarily closed. We would like to assure our supporters and friends that our resident donkeys are not affected and they continue to receive the highest level of care.
Currently, only essential staff (such as grooms) still have access to our sanctuary. The rest of our staff are working from home where possible. We’ll keep you updated with any changes.
The Donkey Sanctuary is nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside outside the tranquil village of Liscarroll in Co.Cork. Visitors are welcome to our Open Farm all year round. Home to 140 of our wonderful donkeys and mules, our Open Farm is the perfect place to visit to learn more about the work of The Donkey Sanctuary. When you are here, take the opportunity to explore our scenic walkways, while visiting the different groups of donkeys and mules around the sanctuary or enjoy a picnic in our secure picnic area. Dogs are very welcome to join you on your visit, although please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times.
