The Donkey Sanctuary, IrelandFree admission, pre-booking required
We are delighted to welcome visitors back once again to our Open Farm. We know you have missed our donkeys and they have missed you too.
We want to ensure the safety of you and your family along with the safety of our staff and the animals in our care. We also want to assist in preventing the spread of Covid-19 in our community so we have new procedures and protocols in place that you will see during your visit.
Our sanctuary is open to the public five days a week:
Planning your visit
To help us manage this, we have implemented an online booking system ifor visits between:
- 9.30 am - 12.30 pm
- 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Tickets must be booked in advance.
One ticket will allow one car with a maximum of seven people from the same household entry to our sanctuary.
It’s been a hard year.
As well as missing visitors, we have missed out on the donations that visitors make when they come to the Open Farm. Making a donation, virtually adopting a donkey and buying our donkey related products all help us to continue our vital work.
We don’t charge an entry fee but we welcome and encourage donations and hope that you can make a donation in advance of your visit or when you are here.
At all times while you are visiting The Donkey Sanctuary, visitors are asked to observe current government guidelines around gatherings outdoors.
