About Snowdrop
The first few months of Snowdrop's life were extremely challenging. He and his mother, Snowflake, were part of a larger group of donkeys suffering through the cold winter. The group had very little food and no shelter to shield themselves from the harsh conditions.
Snowdrop was only five months old, and his future would have been very uncertain had we not found him when we did.
In 2018, Snowdrop and his mother Snowflake came into our sanctuary and the older members of their group were successfully rehomed. It was clear to see the suffering Snowdrop had endured, but despite a tough start, he has grown into a sweet natured and confident donkey that is full of energy. His bright white coat sets him apart, and his true gentlemanly nature captures the hearts of everyone around him.

New friends
Snowdrop loves to make new friends, and he’s an extremely loyal companion. When you adopt a donkey, you’re not only helping us to care for Snowdrop, but all the donkeys that are suffering from neglect and abandonment across Ireland.
