To those of you who wish to learn about being a first aider to your donkey we invite you along to our first Donkey Health Care Day. This follows on from the Basic Donkey Care Course and equips you with some very useful advice on how to keep your donkey in tip top health.

Our basic donkey care courses are held at the Sanctuary in Liscarroll and at venues around the country beginning at 11am. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity; learn the basics from the experts at The Donkey Sanctuary. The training courses are absolutely free, but voluntary donations are always gratefully received.

Whether you are an experienced equine owner, have newly acquired donkeys or are thinking of purchasing one of our four-legged friends - this workshop is for you! The workshops are organised by our Welfare Department and are completely free to attend.

International Donkey Week is a holiday with a difference at the Sanctuary's headquarters in Devon - a chance for you to have close contact with our donkeys in glorious settings. You can groom, cuddle or just sit and watch the donkeys, which, we hasten to add, is very relaxing and therapeutic.
