Our basic donkey care courses are held at the Sanctuary in Liscarroll and at venues around the country beginning at 11am. This ever popular event continues at Knockagh Lodge Equestrian Centre in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland on Saturday 31st October 2009 and there are still some places available. The event will begin at 10.00 am prompt and close at approximately 4.00 pm. Please bring a packed lunch and wear warm clothing and suitable footwear!

International Donkey Week is a holiday with a difference at the Sanctuary's headquarters in Devon - a chance for you to have close contact with our donkeys in glorious settings. You can groom, cuddle or just sit and watch the donkeys, which, we hasten to add, is very relaxing and therapeutic.
