The Donkey Sanctuary in Cork will host the second annual Donkey Day at The National Museum of Country Life, Turlough Park, Castlebar, Co Mayo on Thursday 19th August 2010 from 11am to 4pm.
Programme
- 11.00 am and 2.00 pm - Join a farrier for a live demonstration of donkey feet trimming.
- 11.00 am - 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm - 4.00 pm - Join Linda Thompson, Regional Welfare Officer, The Donkey Sanctuary, at the donkey enclosure who will introduce the donkeys and answer any queries.
- 2.30 pm - 3.45 pm - Paddy Barrett, Public Relations Manager of The Donkey Sanctuary will talk about the role of the donkey, past and present.
Questions and answers will follow with The Donkey Sanctuary Team.
