The Donkey Sanctuary is delighted to announce that it has received a grant of €50,000 from Ms Mary Coughlan TD, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Development. These funds will be put towards our schools’ education programme and will be used during the year ahead promoting good practice in animal welfare.

This programme is part of an ongoing commitment by The Donkey Sanctuary to educate children - the future owners and keepers of animals in Ireland - about the importance of correct care, welfare and respect for animals.
