Jim Bob is one of a group of donkeys that were a complaint case in 2002. They were found with no bedding, feeding or water and the owner was not to be found anywhere.

The Guardai and vets were informed about the donkeys who were in poor condition overall and were signed over to the Sanctuary in 2002.

Their feet were in bad condition and they had bald patches all over them from lice infestation and were badly malnourished. They received months of care from the farrier, vet and our dedicated staff. They were all given extra feed, their hooves were pared and they were also deloused and wormed.

Today the "Walton Group" are very happy to be safe and love the attention they receive from visitors.
